Elena Gibson

May 7, 2007

Trained as a professional dancer until the age of 18, Elena spent 10 years dancing professionally with major companies in North America and Europe. She has danced extensively for The National Ballet of Canada and The Bavarian State Opera House.

Elena began pole dancing in Toronto in 1997. While performing with the theatre, Elena acquired a love of Pole Dancing developed from the combination of applied dance technique with the increase in freedom of personal expression and sensuality. Because of Pole Dancing’s origins in Canada in the 1980’s, the experience of peers and mentors provided the perfect environment for advancement of technique to the highest standards.
